Apple is committed to making Steve Jobs’ dream campus — yes, the one that looks like a flying saucer — run on 100 percent renewable energy.

That’s one of the tantalizing tidbits in a leaked “Apple Campus 2” video, which effectively amounts to green architecture porn. Originally shown to the Cupertino, Calif., city council in October, the video details the building’s striking design and environmental benefits, such as its passive cooling and internal park.

In the video, architect Norman Foster talks about his relationship with the late CEO Jobs, who wanted to be thought of as part of the design team rather than a client. That attitude wasn’t only memorable, said Foster, but arguably “vital” to the project.
