ANTs Software carries back $20.2M to streamline hardware-software infrastructure

ANTs Software, developer of a server that consolidates databases — eliminating extraneous software and hardware to lower companies’ operating costs — has brought in $20.2 million in equity, options, warrants, and securities, according to a filing with the SEC. Based in San Francisco, the company acquired managed service provider Inventa Technologies for $30 million in February last year. It also brought in a round of $1.9 million from undisclosed investors.
