Tonic Solutions, digital-health data-collection company based in Menlo Park, Calif., has taken a $2.5 million round of funding, according to documents filed today with the SEC.
Founded last year, Tonic bills itself as “the world’s best medical data collection platform.” The startup’s solutions include iPad apps for patient surveys and questionnaires, algorithmic screening for a huge range of medical conditions, and healthcare workflows to increase efficiency and productivity in the doctor’s office.
