Vox Media raises $46.5M

Vox Media, the company behind publications such as The Verge, Vox.com, and Polygon, announced last night it has raised $46.5 million in new funding, at a reported valuation of $380 million. General Atlantic, a New York investment firm, supplied the new funds.

Glide raises $20 million for mobile video messaging platform

The video messaging company Glide has been flying under the radar for quite some time, but its profile in the Valley will certainly be raised with its second major funding round, announced today. The company says it has raised a $20 million funding round led by New York- and Herzliya, Israel-based Marker LLC, with participation from Two Sigma Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and other existing investors. To date, Glide has raised $28.5 million in venture funding.

Terrascope raises $470K

Terrascope, the company behind the 3D outdoors mapping tool Fatmap, announced it has raised $470,000 (£300,000) in new funding. It raised the funds from several angel Investors, including Kenton Cool.
