It’s largely housed in a former German brewery, and numerous IT heavyweights like Zendesk, Soundcloud and 6Wunderkinder are already working out of the space.
The Factory is one of the largest and most ambitious technology campus in Berlin, a thriving and growing tech hive that’s home to over 500 startups and established IT outfits. Startups operating in the city pulled in over $10 billion last year, and that figure is growing.

Philip Justus, the managing director for Google Germany, will attend. And so will Berlin’s tech savvy mayor, Klaus Wowreit.
According to its website:
“Our mission is to create advantages for startups by providing space and support for them to start or grow their businesses. We are accelerating the Berlin ecosystem by providing a playground to those that want to invent, change, improve and grow. Building bridges with blue chips, [small and medium-sized businesses], and the international tech community is supporting the momentum we are here to accelerate.”
For budding tech entrepreneurs, the Factory will rent you a desk or provide over 2,000 square meters of space for more advanced startups. Factory policy is to supply mentoring and consultant support to those who request it.
