Israeli startup UppSite puts funds toward US expansion

Since its April launch at VentureBeat’s DEMO Spring conference, mobile app development company UppSite has raised $2.1 million, bringing its total funding to date to $2.7 million.

UppSite is an Israeli company that provides a one-stop shop for web publishers to create mobile apps. After participating in startup incubator TheTime and receiving $550,000 in funding, Uppsite raised a follow-up round with additional input from TheTime, as well as Matomy Media Group and angel investors. The funds will go towards product development and expanding operations into North America.
