Native video advertising startup Virool announced today that it sealed a $12 million investment led by Menlo Ventures, Thomvest Ventures, and Yahoo Japan.

The new funding, Virool said, will be used to “further accelerate its presence in the global advertising market.”

Virool’s marketing tool allows users to manage, design, and monitor their video advertising campaigns.

Flint Capital and 500 Startups also participated in the latest investment, which adds up to at least $18.6 million raised by Virool since its seed round in 2013.
