The app crunches HR data for enterprise workers into a consumer-friendly interface designed to make measuring, reporting on, and improving the activities of a given workplace easier, faster, and more accurate.

The startup says it plans to use the new funding to “fuel investments in innovation” (we’re guessing that’s longhand for “hiring more engineers”) and expanding its services into more countries.

“Visier’s first two years were spent creating a revolutionary way to approach analytics,” said Visier founder John Schwarz in a statement on the news.

Visier was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Vancouver with offices in San Francisco. The company took its first round of venture capital, totaling $6 million, in September 2011.
