Double your pleasure, double your fun, double your Pokémon.
Nintendo announced today that it’s bundling the upcoming Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire versions for its 3DS portable together in a dual pack. While Pokémon games always come out in pairs (starting with the original Red and Blue versions for the Game Boy), Nintendo hasn’t bundled them together before.

You won’t save any money by getting the dual pack, which costs $80 (each game is $40 on its own). However, it does come with a pair of codes that players can redeem for 100 potions, which can heal your damaged Pokémon. Those are especially useful early on in your adventure, when your little buddies don’t have much health yet.
While the two versions are almost identical, they each feature some exclusive Pokémon. This is to encourage trading with friends who have a different version from you.
Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are remakes of the 2003 Game Boy Advance entries in the insanely popular series. It features 3D graphics and Mega Evolutions of certain Pokémon, a mechanic introduced in last year’s X and Y versions.
