Today, Amazon made another content deal to expand what it offers its customers. Android developer PlayScape, maker of casual smartphone title likes Ninja Chicken Ooga Booga, is releasing a new platform for Amazon called PlayScape Plus. Through Plus, gamers can grab premium PlayScape games at a discounted price and new titles specifically tailored for the Amazon Appstore.

“One of PlayScape’s primary goals is to make the best games more easily accessible in today’s mobile marketplace,” PlayScape vice president of sales Amir Dinur said in a statement. “Partnering with an expansive platform like Amazon definitely drives towards that goal of game discoverability, while also providing another avenue in our end-to-end development, distribution, and marketing solution for developers.”

PlayScape is a mobile publisher that offers developers a way to reach an audience and generate revenue. It has six million monthly active users and over 100,000 daily downloads. The company has 10 games available now on the Android App Store.

By nailing down this partnership with Amazon, PlayScape plans to boost those numbers through the numerous Kindle Fire owners.

The Amazon Appstore is the primary source for applications on the Kindle tablet, but it is also available to anyone with an Android device. While the Google Play market is still the dominant ecosystem, Amazon has made strides by offering free versions of premium apps. the platform also often gets big games like PopCap’s Peggle before other Android markets.
