Angela Bassett will talk right at you with intensity in Rainbox Six Siege

LOS ANGELES — Ubisoft’s new Rainbox Six game just got a new big-name actor attached.

The publisher revealed today at its Electronic Entertainment Expo press briefing that Angela Bassett will star in Rainbox Six Siege, which is due out Oct. 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The multiplayer tactical shooter is all about pitting two team against one another in destructible environments, and Bassett will speak in a stern voice to you about it.

Bassett plays Six, the director of Rainbow Six. In this role, the How Stella Got Her Groove Back star will likely either give your team instructions on what to do from stage to stage. Or — if you play as the bad guys — maybe she’ll make you feel small and weak with her voice.
