Batman: Arkham Knight suffers a (tiny) delay

Hey, what happened May 2?

Holy delay, Batman! What, is that an overused Batman cliché? How about this: Some people just want to watch the world wait. Better? Better.

Warner Bros. has delayed the release of the anticipated PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC action game Batman: Arkham Knight to June 23, a bit later than its original June 2 date. The announcement was made on the title’s official Twitter account.

It’s a huge wait, and hopefully it’ll result in Arkham Knight having a smooth launch.

The Arkham series started in 2009 with Batman: Arkham Asylum, an action game that surprised everyone with its smooth battle system, great graphics, and a story that gave plenty of the Dark Knight’s best villains the spotlight. Today, you can see its influence in games such as Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Sleeping Dogs. Arkham Knight is the franchise’s first installment on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
