Battlefield: Hardline beta is live for PC and PlayStation 4 owners

Battlefield: Hardline is real, and EA will give us the details at its E3 press event.

LOS ANGELES — If you own Battlefield 4 on PlayStation 4 or on PC, you can start playing the new Battlefield game right now.

Publisher Electronic Arts announced that PS4 and PC players can download the beta for the cops and robbers-themed Battlefield: Hardline by heading on over to BF4’s menu screen.

The beta is exclusively for PC and PS4. On EA’s Battlefield website, it says: “If you’re an Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PlayStation 3 owner, the closed beta is not available on these platforms. Don’t stress — we have some news for you.”
