Bethesda opens webstore to sell $300 Skyrim statue and other franchise merchandise

Bethesda owns some of the coolest fantasy and sci-fi franchises in gaming. The publisher is taking advantage of its properties in a new online store that deals exclusively in merchandised based on games such as The Elder Scrolls.

The Bethesda Store is open now. It includes art, glassware, and apparel all decked out in popular Bethesda games like Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Doom.

Currently, the big-ticket item is a $300 statue of the Dragonborn from Skyrim. It currently isn’t available for purchase, but fans will have to plop down a $100 deposit to reserve one of 16-inch sculptures.

Other, less expensive items include a $48 Dishonored-themed Dunwall Whiskey hoodie, an $18 Doom T-shirt, and some dope Fallout-themed Vault 101 sneakers for $85.
