One of 2013’s biggest releases is finally about to get into the meat of its downloadable content.
Developer Irrational Games revealed today that it will release the first episode of BioShock Infinite’s story expansion on Nov. 12. The add-on pack, titled Burial at Sea, costs $15 on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network as well as online PC retailers like Steam. It will follow the characters from BioShock Infinite in a parallel dimension where they live in Rapture, the underwater city from the original BioShock.

Burial at Sea is a two-part series. It tells the story of Booker DeWitt, who is a private investigator in Rapture, before the fall of that city that players experienced in 2007’s BioShock. A woman named Elizabeth, the same woman from Infinite, hires DeWitt to find a girl who is missing.

This downloadable content is also included as part of BioShock Infinite’s DLC season pass. That $20 voucher gets players access to both Burial at Sea episodes as well as the Clash in the Clouds challenge mode expansion. Clash in the Clouds features over 60 bonus skill-based obstacles that take place in new locations in Columbia, the setting of Infinite.
