One of the best games from the past 10 years is looking better than ever.
Publisher 2K released a new video for BioShock: The Collection that compares the opening of the original game with the remastered version that’s coming in the bundle. The collection includes updated versions of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, and it will come out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13. The atmospheric first-person shooters were three of the most popular games in the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 era, selling more than 25 million copies combined.

Not only does it run smoother, but it includes new textures and art assets.
Remastered versions of older games have been a popular trend on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Series like Gears of War, Uncharted, Dishonored, Grand Theft Auto, and Tomb Raider have all had PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 games updated for the current generation of consoles. With BioShock (and the upcoming The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remaster) on their way, we’re running out of classics from that era to remaster … expect for Red Dead Redemption … and the Mass Effect trilogy … and Assassin’s Creed II … (and a host of PC games!).
OK, maybe we aren’t running out of games to remaster.
