This year’s BlizzCon is Nov. 8-9 at the Anaheim Convention Center. A limited number of tickets for an exclusive pre-BlizzCon go on sale on May 1. That dinner will benefit the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. BlizzCon is a celebration of all things Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft.
BlizzCon will host the StarCraft II World Championship Series Global Finals.
The event returns after a one-year hiatus. Blizzard didn’t hold a BlizzCon in 2012 because of its busy schedule developing and releasing Diablo III, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. It held the first BlizzCon in 2005.
“We love having the opportunity to hang out with our players at BlizzCon, and it’s always awesome to see the greatest gaming community on earth swarm Anaheim,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment, in a statement. “We look forward to delivering two full days of gaming, activities, and other entertainment, and we can’t wait to show some of the exciting projects we’ve been working on.”
Tickets to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner, which include admission to BlizzCon, are $500 each. That dinner is Nov. 7. About 200 tickets should be available on at 7 p.m. Pacific on May 1. BlizzCon will also offer Virtual Ticket for live web viewing as well.
