Burnout developer swaps out cars for wingsuits, helicopters, and ATVs

LOS ANGELES — The studio behind Burnout is moving away from cars for its new game.

Criterion revealed its new title — with no official title, apparently — at publisher Electronic Arts’s yearly press conference today for the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Instead of performing crazy stunts in your car, you’ll be performing crazy first-person stunts in a variety of vehicles: parachutes, ATVs, boats, wingsuits, and more. Players can jump from one vehicle to another while traveling across different types of terrain.
