Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One and Xbox 360 is getting more customization packs that will enable players to dress up their weapons and characters. Next Tuesday, developer Infinity Ward is releasing four weapon personalization kits, four custom character models, and a special throwback to its Modern Warfare games for the multiplayer in Ghosts.

Each pack is $2. The studio is also selling the models from the single-player game for use in multiplayer. Fans can make their computer-controlled squadmates look like Elias, Hesh, Keegan, or Merrick from the campaign. Each character is $2, and players can, of course, use the characters as their avatar in the online modes.
The developer is also releasing a $4 Captain Price Legend Pack. Captain Price was the hero of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games. This downloadable content includes his character model as well as themed weapon camo, player patch, card, weapon reticule, and background.
While this content is only coming to Xbox platforms, it will likely hit PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC at some point in the future.
Infinity Ward has previously released free weapon skins for Christmas as well as a $2 skin for the guard dog perk that makes it look like a wolf. These are all about personalization and do not change the way the game works.
In its most-recent fiscal report, publisher Activision revealed that its digital channels, which includes these kinds of in-game purchases, are growing. The company expects these kinds of DLC packs to produce significant revenue going forward.
