We know now that The Phantom Pain is actually designer Hideo Kojima’s next entry in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Now that the mystery is behind us, we can focus on the impressive tech powering Metal Gear Solid V.

Wednesday at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Kojima made the big reveal and then talked about how his team is working to bring photorealistic visuals  to the world of Solid Snake, Naked Snake, and Big Boss.

It’s slightly technical, but it’s so impressive that it’s watching.
