I usually try to find a common theme between all the games in a review spotlight, but I don’t think four games can get much more different.
We have a bloody, action-filled trip through ancient Rome; a massively multiplier role-playing game filled with fantasy tropes; a first-person interactive story; and whatever the hell you’d call Peggle 2.

Ryse: Son of Rome review – Glory to Rome
By Derek Nichols
“For all of its flaws, I found Ryse: Son of Rome to be a better experience than I was expecting. The campaign is short enough where the repetitive combat really doesn’t overstay its welcome.”
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn — My experience
By Mark Willette
“After getting to the higher levels, the game started giving me a lot of grief, and I began to grow frustrated and eventually bored. While I don’t regret the time I spent experiencing game, I won’t be a long-term subscriber.”
Gone Home shows that we all have a story to share
By Mark Purcell
“Just like we discover in the game, we all have something to say. At least, that’s what I took away from my experience.”

Peggle 2 review
By Michael Burridge
“It may not always live up to the first game’s technical excellence, but the base gameplay improvements provided by the new characters makes it worth wading through until a major update hits.”
