I wasn’t lucky enough to attend the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles last week, so while everyone else was off networking, playing games, and not at all enjoying drinks with names like “the Ninja Turtle,” I was hanging out at home watching the event, thankful that I was in a place with a comparatively low concentration of body odor.

Between my coworkers and the photographer we had covering things, GamesBeat ended up with a lot of pictures from in and around the L.A. Convention Center. And when I looked through the photos, some of them took a while to understand. Some still don’t make any sense, actually, but I think if I knew what was actually going on, they wouldn’t be as fun anymore.

Below is a gallery of the most confusing pictures I found while clicking through our Photobucket over the weekend.
