The media company announced today that the second season of it Eleague Counter-Strike: Global Offensive starts today, with preliminary rounds in Europe. The first events include teams like G2 Esports, Team Dignitas, Godsent, FaZe, and Flipsid3. Esports is a growing market that is worth $892 million, and Turner’s interest in it shows how it is expanding into the mainstream. Eleague broadcasts on Twitch and TBS. The first season of Eleague attracted 19 million viewers to the cable channel.
