And when we reach the midnight hour, his curse shall strike, and you will know the black darkness that is the endless hordes of gamers all logging into Hearthstone at once.

The Plague Quarter, the latest content for the Hearthstone’s Curse of Naxxramas add-on, is now live in the Americas. Hearthstone will then have the new episode in its digital store. This is the second of five parts for the downloadable single-player adventure, which introduces a series of bosses with unique abilities. Players who beat The Plague Quarter will earn a handful of new cards that are unattainable through any other means.

With Naxxramas’s second episode going live in North and South America, the add-on is now available in all of Hearthstone’s supported territories. The content hit earlier today in South Korea, China, and Europe.

Curse of Naxxramas is Hearthstone’s first major content addition. Players have had the option to pay for packs of cards and entrance into a special Arena mode since the game debuted in Beta last year, but this Adventure mode is the first time gamers have had the opportunity to buy new gameplay. This is Blizzard’s first free-to-play game, and the company will likely decide how to proceed with new content for Hearthstone based on how well Naxxramas performs.
