The candy-obsessed monster Om Nom will return later this year.
Developer ZeptoLab is revealing today that it will release Cut the Rope 2 for mobile devices this holiday. The studio promises new mechanics and twists on the familiar physics-based gameplay of the original.

“Cut the Rope 2 is a massive step forward for the game. Amazing graphics, gameplay, and characters drive a brand new experience that fans are going to love.”
ZeptoLab also revealed that its titles have passed 400 million total downloads worldwide. The developer also had 60 million monthly active users in the first half of 2013. In addition to the original Cut the Rope from 2010, the studio also released popular games Cut the Rope: Experiments, Cut the Rope: Time Travel, and Pudding Monsters.
To promote Cut the Rope 2, ZeptoLab will introduce a new season of Om Nom Stories, the company’s webisode series that follows Om Nom through some of his adventures. The previous Om Nom Stories have 85 million views on YouTube.
