This Sega game has taken me from over looking it to maybe being a priority of a game.  There are two things I look for in a game that needs to grasp me before buying.  First is it different enough to break a mold and the second is can it pull me in for a good distance.

This game breaks the mode for weirdness on every level which is a good thing.  Really her clothes are made out of her own hair.  Come on guys you know you want to chop off her hair during the game just to see what happens.  Then on top of that with over the top combo’s and moves during each fight.  Now sure how many people can pull off their hair turning into a dragon that eats your opponent and make it look great.  Really if your a witch why do you need a gun, but with the weirdness in this game it is best to stop thinking.

Can this game pull me the distance now is the tricky part for me.  From watching trailers from any and every where it is just hard for me to put this on my buy list over Borderlands.  Honestly I would pick this up over my schedualed Borderlands pick up if I knew this would not play like Devil May Cry series.  As well as this looking like a DMC4 clone it may be to linear to my liking.

What I call linear in a game would be something like Eternal Sonata & DMC4.  It gives you a selected area that you have to move with in.  With it being linear it will fall in my sea of unfinished games like folklore who even had a great story line, but was just to linear for me.  It got annoying only to have limited space to move in.

With having the weirdness I like and enjoy seeing in this game in action.  For one I hope it is just not to linear for me or it will be picked up when it reaches the bargin bin.  Only time will tell on how this will play out.
