It’s an outstanding month for the Games With Gold service on Xbox Live as Microsoft is giving players a chance to play one of the best Xbox 360 racers on the Xbox One.
In December, Microsoft will give away four games as part of the Games With Gold feature of its Xbox Live Gold member program. Gold costs $10 per month or $60 per year, and as long as you maintain your subscription, you will continue to have access to any releases that are a part of the Games with Gold subscription.
As usual, Games With Gold includes four games. Two for Xbox One only and two that are compatible with both Xbox One and Xbox 360. This includes the excellent open-world driving game Burnout Paradise.
Here’s a closer look at the games and when they’ll hit Xbox Live:
Xbox One
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition
On December 1, Gold subscribers can pick up publisher Square Enix’s open-world crime game. Sleeping Dogs takes place in Hong Kong, and it gives you the chance to infiltrate a local gang.
Outlast
On December 16, Microsoft will add the horror game Outlast to Games With Gold. In this survival adventure, you’ll need to avoid a horrifying monster in the dark while using your night-vision camera to see.
Xbox 360 and Xbox One
Outland
On December 1, this side-scrolling action game will go up on GWG. The Ubisoft-published action adventure features platform jumping, puzzles, and a stunning visual style.
Burnout Paradise
Finally, on December 16, the Xbox 360 racer will go up for free on Xbox Live. The open-world driving game enables players to drive around and start races and challenges. It is also one of the first games to keep leaderboards for just about everything in its world, that includes the highest speed through intersections and the fastest times between two points.
