The holiday season is always filled with blockbuster games. Add Dishonored 2 to this year’s collection of Christmas gift hopefuls.
Publisher Bethesda revealed today that the anticipated stealth game is coming out on November 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Like its predecessor, which came out in 2012, Dishonored 2 has players using abilities like teleportation and possession in order to perform assassinations and other acts of espionage (although you can choose to be as bloody or as subtle as you want). You can choose to play as Corvo (the lead character from the first game) or Empress Emily Kaldwin. The original Dishonored exceeded Bethesda’s sales expectations (although it did not give out specific numbers), and this sequel can help turn it into a money-making franchise.

However, while Call of Duty and Gears of War are more traditional shooters, Dishonored 2 can appeal to players who want a more methodical experience. Outside of perhaps Doom, which comes out on May 13, this is Bethesda’s biggest release of the year.
Bethesda noted that the first reveal of gameplay for Dishonored 2 will happen at its E3 Showcase in Los Angeles on June 12.
