Just because the word “infinity” is in the name doesn’t mean it’s sales are going to be infinite.
Disney revealed today that revenues for its interactive division (which handles both games and game-like toys) dropped $58 million during the third quarter of 2015 for a total of $208 million. Disney blamed the drop on slowing sales of Disney Infinity.

Disney Infinity sales will likely rise again when 3.0 comes out on August 30. That version adds Star Wars characters and levels to the toys-to-life series.
Disney also noted that the success of Tsum Tsum, a plush-toy brand tied to a mobile puzzle game, partially offset the losses from the slowing Disney Infinity sales.
