Microsoft seems like it is on a quest to bring all of pop culture into Minecraft for its Xbox systems.

The company announced today that the block-building game on Xbox 360 will get Doctor Who characters and items. In a new downloadable-content pack, players can get the Doctor himself, his companion, the evil Daleks, and five of the former Doctors. The add-on will go on sale for $3 in September. Minecraft is one of the top-selling games in the world, and it was the highest-earning digital game on consoles in July, according to SuperData Research. Content packs like these are a big reason for that.

Doctor Who is just the latest show, movie, or game to get its own skin pack in the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft. Microsoft, working alongside Minecraft developers Mojang and 4J Studios, has previously released downloadable content for the game based on Marvel superheroes, Bethesda’s open-world role-playing game Skyrim, and the recent Marvel blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. Sony has done something similar with its version of Minecraft, but so far that has only included Sony-owned characters like Uncharted’s Nathan Drake.

While Doctor Who and the other packs are coming out first for Xbox 360, all of the content players buy for that version will work on the Xbox One release. That means players can continue their blocky Doctor Who adventure on new-gen when the game hits that platform.

Minecraft is expected to debut on Xbox One (as well as PS4 and Vita) later this year. Developer 4J Studios, which is handling the ports, revealed that it is sending the Xbox One version in to Microsoft for certification this week.
