LOS ANGELES — EA gave the world its first look at Dragon Age: Inquisition, the third installment in developer BioWare’s fantasy role-playing series, during its pre- Electronic Entertainment Expo conference in Los Angeles today.

The trailer showed a couple of faces familiar to fans of the franchise, including the dwarf Varric from Dragon Age 2. The video ended with the reveal of Morrigan, a witch who featured prominently in the original Dragon Age: Origins.

EA has scheduled Dragon Age: Inquisition for Fall 2014 for current and next-gen consoles as well as PC. This new Dragon Age will run on EA’s new Frostbite 3 engine.
