LAS VEGAS — Electronic Arts’ Dragon Age: Inquisition won Game of the Year tonight at the Dice Awards.

The victory for Dragon Age: Inquisition, which was created by EA’s BioWare label, was an upset for Warner Bros.’ Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, which won eight other awards.
The other nominees were Destiny, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.
Destiny from Bungie won four awards during the night. Dragon Age, by comparison, came out with just a couple of victories. Dragon Age: Inquisition had a huge amount content, with nearly 100 hours of game play in a virtual fantasy world. It also won for best role-playing game.
