Let’s try to not be too jealous of Japan.
Square Enix is bringing its classic role-playing game Dragon Quest VIII to Nintendo’s 3DS portable. However, the port is only announced for Japan so far.

Square Enix has been pretty good making sure every territory gets these Dragon Quest re-releases. Dragon Quest VIII itself just saw a port to mobile that came out worldwide. Nintendo DS remakes of Dragon Quest IV, V, and VI also all came out in our territory.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King originally came out for the PlayStation 2 back in 2004. The 3DS version adds Streetpass support and an orchestrated soundtrack, according to Siliconera, a new site that focuses on Japanese gaming. It comes out in Japan on Aug. 27.
