The Elder Scrolls Online has lost one of its key developers.

Paul Sage, who was the creative director for the massively mutliplayer online role-playing game, has left developer Zenimax Studios Online. The departure was confirmed on the game’s forums, as originally spotted by Eurogamer. He is joining Borderlands developer Gearbox to work on an unknown project.

Rich Lambert is the new creative director for Elder Scrolls Online. He was previously the game’s lead content designer.

Elder Scrolls Online originally came out for PC in April 2014. Starting in March, the MMO got rid of its requirement for a monthly subscription. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions came out on June 4 of this year.
