Activision dropped a tidbit for e-sports fans at its Call of Duty Championship tournament in Los Angeles today. The video game giant released the next trailer for its Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare — Exo Zombies Infection co-op expansion. The downloadable content (DLC) pack is the second part of the Exo Zombies experience and will be available with the Ascendance DLC pack on March 31 through Xbox Live.
Activision is trying much harder to preserve its Call of Duty community, which generally draws something like 40 million players a month. It’s part of a plan to cement Advanced Warfare among hardcore fans and e-sports enthusiasts, who can keep the game alive for long after it ships. Overall, e-sports attract something like 70 million spectators worldwide.
