Lara Croft is back. Almost.
Here’s a video of 15 minutes of gameplay in Rise of the Tomb Raider, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix as an exclusive on the Microsoft Xbox One game console. I played Rise of the Tomb Raider at a preview event, where Microsoft showed off the beginning of the game as well as some subsequent levels.

In the new game, she’s learning how to be a Tomb Raider. The video below is gameplay from a scene at an enemy-occupied town in Siberia. Lara is exploring the wilderness in a quest for something that her father dreamed about finding. But she has been confronted by an organization called Trinity, which has moved an army into the area in search of the same artifact.
I had a lot of fun jumping around, scaling walls, and snapping enemies’ necks with my bow. I spent time wandering around, solving puzzles, and using Lara’s sixth sense for finding important objects in the landscape. And toward the end of the video, I finally managed to sneak up on some bad guys.
Rise of the Tomb Raider debuts November 10 on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 game consoles.
