That's one interesting cast.

Fans don’t need to wait until the very distant future when publisher Square Enix finishes remaking Final Fantasy VII. They can play the old game now.

Final Fantasy VII’s original PC port is going live today on PlayStation 4, according to Square Enix. The company announced the release while on stage at the PlayStation Experience. The publisher announced this PS4 release at last year’s PlayStation Experience, which is Sony’s fan event that it is holding in San Francisco this year.

This is the exact same title you can get on Steam, but now is probably a good time to go back. The Final Fantasy VII remake has a lot of players curious about how Square Enix will update that beloved classic. It was a product of its time and place, and it seems crazy that we’ll get a one-to-one update with modern graphics. But that’s what I’m hoping for.
