Nintendo’s green-loving hero is back in his first high-definition adventure. The publisher just debuted a new trailer to promote the upcoming release.
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD is due out Sept. 20 through Wii U’s digital-download eShop service. A physical version of the adventure game hits retail Oct. 4. Nintendo will charge $50 for each. Nintendo released the following trailer that shows the updated 3D visuals and recaps its story:
The trailer is actually reminiscent of a silent movie. It doesn’t have a narrator and instead shows snippets of the plot unfold with occasional text between scenes.
Nintendo originally released Wind Waker for its GameCube console. It debuted in North America in March 2003. Critics and fans praised it for its crisp, cartoon visuals and smart dungeon design.
