Forza Horizon to get Rally expansion for $20

The racer, which isn't even out yet, will get some dirt-road tracks in an expansion pack slated for December.

The latest Forza racing game isn’t even out yet, but publisher Microsoft is already announcing downloadable content.

For 1,600 Microsoft Points, fans can add some muddy rally racing to their Forza Horizon action starting Dec. 18. Forza Horizon is an open-world racing game set in Colorado. The Forza Horizon Rally Expansion Pack brings the specialized brand of off-road, drift-focused racing.

Microsoft releases Forza Horizon on Oct. 23 for $59.99 exclusively on Xbox 360. In addition to the Rally DLC, developer Playground Studios is selling new car packs after the game’s release. A Forza Horizon Season Pass, which costs $50, provides players access to the Rally DLC and all of the extra car packs.

The official Microsoft store givse customers 1,600 Microsoft Points (enough to buy the Dec. 18 DLC) if they preorder Forza Horizon for $59.99.
