GamesBeat community: Write about Nintendo and you could win an AR eShop card

You could win one of these.

Nintendo gave us some pretty cool eShop cards, so we thought we’d give our community writers a chance to win them. We have three [pictured above], and each one gives you $10 of credit on the Wii U and 3DS digital stores. But you can also use the 3DS’s camera make digital versions of the characters on the card spring to life.

Want one? Then just write a Nintendo-themed story for GamesBeat Unfiltered, our community-focused site where all of our readers can publish their own work. It could be a story on an old classic or on the new Nintendo systems. As long as it fits the theme and is decently substantial, you’ll earn an entry into our contest and have a chance to win one of the cards.

If you haven’t written for us before, just head over to our “about” page. It’ll tell you how to make your own account and submit stories to GamesBeat Unfiltered. Our editors will select your best stories, edit them, and put them on GamesBeat’s front page.

Note that this contest is only for those in the continental U.S., and you can only win one of our three cards. You can write multiple stories for multiple entries in the contest, but they have to be substantial, original works. We will accept entries until next week, July 3.

Good luck, everyone!
