The Walking Dead adventure title from developer Telltale Games is going to get a special edition retail release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Retailers across the country will carry the standard version of this zombie game.
The Walking Dead: Collector’s Edition is available exclusively at GameStop. Telltale claims that it’s producing this special version in extremely limited quantities. Customers will only be able to get their hands on this $59.99 bundle with a pre-order.
The Collector’s Edition contains the following:
- The game disc with the first five episodes.
- Special box art from Charlie Adlard, who illustrates the comic-book series.
- Exclusive version of The Walking Dead Compendium One (containing the first 48 comics in the series), with exclusive art from Charlie Adlard.
Separately, the compendium retails for $59.99, the same price as the Collector’s Edition. Image Comics, the publisher of the books, won’t sell this version of the compendium outside of this game package.
