Update: The batch of photos have vanished although Sony has confirmed that the site is indeed the official German Facebook page.

A representative at LucasArts has told GamesBeat that the Facebook post was inaccurate: “We have not confirmed any platforms yet for 1313 and do not have any announcements to make at this time.”

Original story: A batch of 31 photos have popped up on the Sony PlayStation DE Facebook page that suggests a platform and release date for the upcoming action-adventure game Star Wars 1313.

We’re currently checking with Sony and developer LucasArts to confirm whether the webpage is an official source. The description “Star Wars 1313 erscheint 2013” translates to “Star Wars 1313 appears 2013 for PlayStation 3” on Google Translate (click our screen capture below).

This new Star Wars tale takes players deep below the surface of Coruscant, the galactic capital that’s one huge planet in the sci-fi franchise’s universe, to the criminal underground called Level 1313.

If the Facebook update is true, the exclusivity to the PS3 is interesting since the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed games are multiplatform. The Walt Disney Company recently purchased the rights to Star Wars — and LucasArts — with its acquisition of Lucasfilm in October last year.
