Developer Polyphony was absent from Sony’s PlayStation 4 reveal. Now, it isn’t talking about the PlayStation 4 for Gran Turismo 6. Instead, the studio is preparing over 1,200 cars and 77 tracks for the outgoing PS3, according to GTPlanet News.

Sony and Polyphony are holding an event at the Silverstone raceway in the U.K. today, where it is revealing details about the next iteration of the beloved driving title. In addition to the 1,200 cars, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi plans to add more customization options. This might come at a price, however, since Polyphony is focusing on downloadable content for GT6.

We’ve reached out to Sony to ask about the possibility of a PlayStation 4 version, and we will update with its response.
