Based on its gamer social network metrics, Raptr said today that Grand Theft Auto V dominated gamers’ time during the month of October, commanding the No. 1 spot for the second month in a row.
The most-played list shows that the open-world action-adventure game accounted for 20.5 percent of all game time among Raptr’s members. And it had a 45 percent share of Xbox 360 playtime. At No. 2, Valve’s Dota 2 for the PC had 5 percent of gamer time, compared to 2.6 percent for its archrival, League of Legends from Riot Games.

Path of Exile and Heartstone: Heroes of Warcraft made their first appearances in the PC top charts. Terraria’s content update spurred a 1,225 percent increase in playtime over October.
Browser game Cookie Cutter dropped during the month from No. 10 to No. 12. Battlefield 4 launched late in the month on Oct. 29 in North America, but it still managed to get 1.2 percent of the time at No. 14. Civilization V was up 54 percent month over month, driven by the launch of a $5 Scrambled Continents map pack.
