Grand Theft Auto V has done some criminal numbers since its debut.

Take-Two Interactive revealed that it shipped more than 32.5 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V to retailers around the world. It’s important to keep in mind that the 32.5 million refers to the number of copies stores have ordered from Take-Two and not necessarily sold through to customers.

The publisher announced that figure in its earnings report for the third quarter of its fiscal year. Primarily due to GTA V, Take-Two brought in record earnings. The company reported that the open-world crime game has generated $767 million in revenue. That helped it reach $1.70 earnings per share.

GTA V debuted on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and made $800 million in just 24 hours. In November, Take-Two announced that it had shipped 29 million copies of GTA V to retailers, which means it has added another 3.5 million during Take-Two’s third quarter.

The success of GTA V is notable because it was only available on PS3 and Xbox 360. Take-Two could potentially see a spike in sales if it were to release the game on PC or the current-generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. The publisher has not yet mentioned the possibility of bringing out GTA V on those platforms.
