GRID 2 deal plus two new Humble Bundle empty gamers’ wallets

The week’s big GRID 2 release got $15.50 shaved off the Steam-activated version at GamesRocket, dropping the price from $49.99 to $34.49. The US release date was Tuesday, while the rest of the globe will have to wait until tomorrow, May 31st. The game arrives almost exactly five years after the original CodeMasters hit racing title, and so far has achieved a respectable 82/100 Metascore.

The 8th Humble Indie Bundle sale started Tuesday, allowing you to name your price and support charity while getting some great DRM-free PC download titles. The bundle comes with Little Inferno, Awesomenauts, Capsized, Thomas Was Alone, and Dear Esther, along with each game’s soundtrack in MP3 or FLAC. You’ll also get Hotline Miami, Proteus, and the Proteus game soundtrack if you pay more than the average ($5.67 at time of writing). About 240,000 bundles have already been sold, making the 8th Indie Bundle one of the more popular bundles.

Today’s release: Wargame: Airland Battle (PC Download) — $32 at Green Man Gaming after coupon. List is $40. If the Cold War had gone hot, this game explores what might have happened tactically. Although Airland Battle didn’t get much attention in the media, it released today, May 30th.

Apple iTunes $50 Gift Card — $40 at eBay. It’s not exactly a gaming deal, but we’ve heard rumors there are a few games available in the iTunes Store. Only a couple hundred thousand, though.
