According to IGN, Chillingo tapped developer Glitch Soft to bring the cartoon world of Eternia to life on Apple’s iOS devices this fall.
The Most Powerful Game in the Universe is a 2D, side-scrolling brawler. He-Man uses his muscles to take on waves of grunts. I feel manlier already.

He-Man is a 1980’s cartoon and toy character. Mattel designed the action-figure in the wake of the tremendous marketing success that Geroge Lucas had with Star Wars merchandise. The 1983 show, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, brought He-Man to a mass audience.
He-Man’s iOS adventure will feature 27 levels set across seven different areas. Notorious baddies Skeletor, Beast Man, and others will challenge He-Man despite the fact that it states clearly in his title that he is “The Most Powerful Man in the Universe.” Stupid villains.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go get my action figures out of storage.
