Well, Blizzard — at least you haven’t forgotten how to show a lady a good time.
It’s time for more Hearthstone! Publisher Blizzard just unleashed the second episode of the League of Explorers adventure that will have you fighting bosses and surviving Indiana Jones-like encounters. You can get this wing of the five-part adventure for $7 or 700 gold — although you can also buy all five wings at once for $20 as well. It is out on PC, Mac, and smart devices.

This game already leads the $1.2 billion digital-card sector, but the publisher wants to keep that momentum going. In addition to new cards, The League of Explorers is also launching the new “Discover” keyword, which enables certain minions to summon cards that aren’t even in your deck. Acquiring these cards, figuring them out, and building new decks around them is one of the big appeals of Hearthstone, and it’s one of the reasons why the game is so lucrative.
And a reminder, while Blizzard still has three more wings coming in this adventure, it is not going to release one next Thursday. It is Thanksgiving in the United States next week, and it sounds like the publisher wanted to give its teams the day off.
Keep tuned to GamesBeat as we’ll have a guide on how to get through this adventure soon.
