A new wing is out for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft’s latest adventure, and it makes me want to sing: ♪I am the monarch of the sea; the ruler of the Queen’s Navee!♪

After taking a week off for Thanksgiving in the United States, publisher Blizzard is back with the third episode in The League of Explorers. You can get this wing by dropping 700 gold or $7. Of course, you can also buy all five parts at once for the discounted price of $20. It is out on PC, Mac, and smart devices, and it introduces a number of new boss adventures and Indiana Jones-style “encounters.”

These adventures are one of the ways that Blizzard generates cash from the free-to-play Hearthstone. Players who spend money on these wings are guaranteed some new cards in addition to the single-player content. Those cards usually have a big impact on the core multiplayer game, so dedicated players all feel compelled to buy spend the money. In that way, these adventures are also a great way for Blizzard to keep its audience engaged with Hearthstone.
