One of the biggest releases of what’s already a monumental year for gaming is due out in a few weeks, and publisher Bethesda is starting to share some extra tidbits to get you pumped up.

Fallout 4 composer Inon Zur and Bethesda published a blog post today about the musical score for the upcoming open-world role-playing game. The company shared a pair of tracks from the original soundtrack including Fallout 4’s “Main Theme,” and you can listen to it below:

Zur has produced the music for dozens of games in addition to his work with television and film. Most notably, he composed the soundtrack for Fallout 3.

In Bethesda’s blog, Zur explains how he comes up with his tunes.

“I walk into my garden and basically hammer on things,” said Zur. “[And] I cruelly exploit the piano by hitting the strings with open hands and even biting the strings.”

Of course, Zur didn’t make the music for Fallout 4 by turning into an animal on furniture and instruments. He also uses more traditional tools.

“In some parts of the game, we decided that the right feel would be more orchestral, but the lead instrument is low accordion,” Zur says. “Other areas, I sampled myself playing this unusual improvised ocarina, which gives all this airiness and shrillness.”

You can hear examples of the low accordion and ocarina in “The Last Mariner” track from Fallout 4:
